Comment: In this presentation, the focus is on how web social media is impacting corporate PR, and the speakers gear their comments to the student audience. What’s really cool about this presentation is that it’s generated from a classroom base. With video and our current web technology, a classroom activity can quickly and easily become a universal learning experience. Re the topic, implications for colleges become obvious when you substitute “colleges” for “corporations” in the presentations. The handwriting on the wall is pretty clear — if we want to sell our campuses, to generate buzz about who we are, we need to quickly get into social networking.
